Visit to Piazza del Popolo, that has been recently restored and now appears in all its brightness and splendour: from the central fountain you can admire the Pincio hill and the twin churches. Along Via del Corso reach Piazza di Spagna with the Sallustiano obelisk, the Barcaccia Fountain and the Spanish steps. Along the narrow side streets, reach the Trevi fountain, famous all over the world for the Fellini’s film “Dolce Vita” and where you should throw a coin to be sure to get back to Rome.
The visit will continue to the pantheon, the best preserved monumento of ancient times and on the fountain in front of the building an obelisk dating back to the age of Ramses II. In Piazza della Minerva there is a smallest obelisk in Rome which Bernini thought of placing on the back of a small marble elephant. Last stop will be in Piazza Navona with its wonderful fountains and churches, the spectacular Fontana dei Fiumi by Bernini crowned by obelisk Pamphilj.
Meeting point: Piazza del Popolo Square in front of S, Maria del Popolo Church.
